3 frameworks/templates that make it easy to clarify and productively thrash any problem.
I've previously noted The importance of understanding "What is going on here?", a variety of decision making frameworks, and zeroed in on the SCQA.
Now, this post is sharing the 3 google doc templates I most often reach for when untangling a problem to solve.
Use these to reduce/improve meetings, force clarity, and solve problems more quickly.
- SCQA - clarify the situation at hand and what you intend to do about it
- RAPID - clarify who has what role in any given decision
- Problem/Solution Statement - I use this the least. It is heavy duty and best only for the gnarliest issues.
They are simple to use, though do require situational awareness and habit.
